About Us

ABOUT US

Rethink Recycling is a national not-for-profit cooperative focused on connecting small businesses, providing hands-on educational programs on sustainability and circularity, and supporting the community in recycled ‘waste’ plastic-processing and product remanufacturing, with an effort to drive overall community innovation and long-term change.

Purpose

We exist for the future of our planet and all its inhabitants. To foster behavioural changes in production and consumption habits of the broader community and viable solutions towards a sustainable and renewable tomorrow.

Mission

To lead by example and inspire schools, communities and industries how to rethink recycling with particular focus on plastics – giving them the means, connections, and tools to do so.

Vision

A national paradigm shift in production & consumption practices, eliminating single-use plastics and waste in our landfills and oceans. To be the #1 cooperative organisation when rethinking waste.
